I have a friend that has this Surf Sidekick 3, it causes pop-ups like crazy!! I ran SpyBot Search & Destroy to no avail. Then I ran Ewido which seamed to take care of the problem but as soon as I enabled the internet connection...BOOM it came back. If anyone knows what to do, I would appreciate the help.
Yesterday while reading the news at my favorite legit site my browser Firefox locked up. I never knowingly visit any site I wouldn't want my grandchildren to visit. While trying to reboot it I noticed a pop-up box and all I could read before it disappeared was Surf Sidekick. After getting all that up and running again I did a bunch of reading on-line and file searches within my system. Thanks for your help....and I hope I've done everything correctly.
