I tried removing and re-installing Compareandbuy but it did not help. I would love to get any help possible to get rid of this.

Similar to BlockAndSurf, Compareandbuy is an adware which will install on user's computer without user's permission and awareness along with third-party programs. Compareandbuy seems to be a useful application to provide a free impartial online comparison service to ensure that users choose the right supplier for their circumstances and help them to save money. However, it is reported by the users to be unwanted and annoying. After installed on the computer, it will add the browser extension and add-on to your browser and change the browser setting. When you open the browser, you will be redirected to some unwanted website. When you surf the Internet, Compareandbuy will generate a lot of pop-up ads, coupons, banners and sponsor links on all your browser.
