When I tried Firefox, I noticed that it kept closing on its own, so I checked the Extensions/Add-ons on it as well and saw that it had strange new Extensions like on Chrome and IE. 6. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide extensions for known file types.
7. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
8. Press the Apply button and then the OK button.

Step 5: Click “Start” button and selecting “Run.” Type “regedit” into the box and click “OK” to delete all related registries.
