Completely Remove system-connect Pop-up Ads

Recently, some computer users complained that their browser is infected with  system-connect Pop-up Ads:

This site has taken over my Chrome Browser. It can not be deleted. They want you to call some 800 number and they try to sell a bogus malware program. I un installed and re installed chrome and it is still there. There is some small print that says it is an ad for 'system-connect'
I get system-connect. Have had others before that too and I think some or more are creating Temp files and eating up my memory. If someone can help let me know what to download and try it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Description of system-connect

System-connect popup is a kind of the  adware application which can be caused by potentially unwanted program (PUP) on the computer. Usually the malicious program can get into the computer along with some unsafe free software that you can download from the internet or from untrusted sources. This kind of adware aims to help the developers to make profits by an unfair way. Once the computer is infected with system-connect pop-up,  it is capable to change the browser setting and replace the default homepage and new tab. When you surf the Internet via browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer, system-connect will pop up on your screen automatically without your permission.
