Checking task manager there were multiple copies of a process with the image name "Oyildaxo" and the description of "chrome". It was impossible to kill of the processes and so I found the path to them (C:\Users\myname\AppData\LocalLow\Temp\zarykgjl\Zoyhfvcaum\Oyildaxo.exe). Deleted all of the files (from zarykgjl down), restarted and without any other apps started they began again. In looking at the file properties, it shows the original filename as being chrome.exe and the version being 36.0.1985.143.
