How to Remove srstrkr.com - Guide to Remove https://srstrkr.com

Recently, users complain that their computer browser has the problem of srstrkr.com redirection: 

I've noticed lately that the ScriptSafe extension is telling me that many websites I visit, including my own virtual server, but not all websites, are running scripts from a redirection domain called:

https://srstrkr.com

Does anybody know what this domain and its redirector is for, or where I can report this domain for analysis by security professionals? I've done some experiments with this thing and apparently it will redirect to any other site you want, for example:

https://srstrkr.com/r/redirect?to=https://www.google.com

Description of srstrkr.com 


Srstrkr.com is a malicious browser extension which can be attached on the your browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, etc. This extension or hijacker is created by the malware developer to make profits by generate web traffics. Once your computer is infected with srstrkr.com, your browser setting will be changed. Your search or homepage will be automatically redirected to srstrkr.com first without your permission and then jump to the webpage you search for. 2) Choose “Settings” > “Extensions”, then find and delete add-ons.

Step 3: Open Control Panel in Start menu and search for Folder Options. When you’re in Folder Options window, please click on its View tab, tick Show hidden files and folders and non-tick Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) and then press OK.


Step 4: Go to the Registry Editor and remove all the infection registry entries listed here:

(Steps: Hit Win+R keys and then type regedit in Run box to search)

Step 5: All the infection associated files listed below need to be removed:
