Recently, there are some computer users stated that their computers might be infected with a kind of ransowmare, more details listed below:
"My business server got hit from some kind of ransomware which left me a txt message "help recover files.txt".
From what I read in the internet I suppose I'm doomed! I don't want to pay those criminals.
I waw running microsoft security essentials and malware bytes(free-manual check once per week) after the attack I checked with malwarebytes, and eset, nothing found!
Most of my important files were renamed starting with "oorr." followed by the original file name. The virus affected the backup drive and dropbox as well..."
